For the 50th anniversary of the flood of Florence, the Galileo Museum has the pleasure of hosting the concert, A Flood of Notes, which will take place on Saturday, November 5th, 2016 at 9pm, inside the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena de’ Pazzi (Borgo Pinti, 58, Florence).

The initiative, born out of a collaboration between the Polytechnic University of Turin, the Galileo Museum, and the Unione Italiana Ciechi Ipovedenti (Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired), will showcase two university chorus groups: the PoliEtnico from the Polytechnic University of Turin, and the Coro Universitario di Firenze.
The program will include songs coming from several different repertoires, some of which, particularly evocative, will be performed in the dark.
